As a leading international financial centre and a strategic gateway connecting Chinese Mainland with the world, Hong Kong is uniquely positioned to drive the green transformation of the B&amp;R Initiative.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>This role is strongly endorsed by the HKSAR Government. The Chief Executive\u2019s 2025 Policy Address explicitly commits to deepening green co-operation with Belt and Road countries by establishing a\u00a0<strong>B&amp;R sustainable green development training centre<\/strong>\u00a0and jointly setting up a\u00a0<strong>co-operation platform<\/strong>\u00a0in Hong Kong with the B&amp;R Initiative International Green Development Coalition. This platform will serve as a launchpad for an international forum focused on green innovation, cementing Hong Kong&#8217;s status as a hub for sustainable development dialogue.<\/p>\n<p>This conference will explore how Hong Kong can leverage its world-class expertise to support this vision across four critical domains: its excellence in\u00a0<strong>infrastructure engineering and financing<\/strong>, leadership in\u00a0<strong>green real estate and urban development<\/strong>, innovation in the\u00a0<strong>clean energy transition<\/strong>, and unparalleled capabilities in\u00a0<strong>sustainable transport and logistics<\/strong>.
