ECMA
Objectives
01
To promote the professional image and competence of our Members to the public, other organisations and associations, corportations and the Government.

To establish good working relationships with all relevant Government departments to ensure that the Association is consulted in advance on any proposals which may affect the industry in general or the Members in particular to enable the Association to represent Members’ interests.

To promote the interests of companies working in the environmental industry as a whole and of the Members of the Association in particular.
04
To promote and maintain the commerical, environmental and safety standards of Members.
Milestones
2017 August
Environmental Contractors Management Association Limited (ECMAL) incorporated as a company limited by guarantee under the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
1992 December
Inaugural issue of ECMA’s annual Directory – 1993 Directory
1988 March
Environmental Contractors Management Association (ECMA) registered under the Societies Ordinance (Chapter 151 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
1987
Chief executive officers of 5 companies providing cleaning and waste management services in Hong Kong initiated a working committee to set up Environmental Contractors Management Association (ECMA) for the promotion of the interests of the environmental services industry.
