Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Charging Training Webinar  [Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Buildings]   MSW Charging will be implemented on 1 April 2024. The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) is now actively taking forward relevant preparatory work to enable the Government, various stakeholders and the public to prepare for the implementation of MSW charging. In order to let different stakeholders have a better understanding of MSW charging and how they should get ready for its implementation, the EPD has commissioned Social Policy Research Limited (SPR) as the service contractor to organise training webinars for various operators/ management organizations. The content of the training webinars includes explaining the charging mechanisms and legal requirements of MSW charging, and providing best practice guides and practical tips according to the actual operational needs of stakeholders’ workplaces, so as to help them make necessary preparations before the implementation of MSW charging. The main target audience of this training seminar is the managers and frontline cleansing supervisors of C&I buildings, so that they can further disseminate the relevant information on MSW charging to frontline staff after the seminar.   The training will be conducted in live stream.
